You have a choice to make. You can see your current situation (being in quarantine or not) as an excuse for not stepping out of your comfort zone, or use it to empower you and help you focus on growth.
In this post, our Director of First Impressions, Lindsay Andrews, shares 4 tips to help you thrive, not just survive.
The key is not to let the fear of failure take over. “If you’re not failing, you’re not trying!”. No one is perfect and we may not get it right the first time, but we grow and learn from our experiences. Let’s aim for growth.
Participating in live Webinars is a great way to not only stay connected but gain perspective and learn from others who are successful. Maybe there is a habit that has attributed to their success that you can try.
Podcasts are also a great learning tool that are easily accessible. I was introduced to this when I first began at Sigma and let me tell you – it’s a game changer!

Getting up early gives you the chance feel productive right out of the gate. Whether you go for a run, do yoga, clean the house or read, you have accomplished a task that will have you feeling productive before most people are even awake! Find happiness in the little things. A gratitude journal is a great way to stay mindful of your thoughts and a reminder to appreciate all of the little joys and gifts life provides. Many of us are not doing the normal morning or evening commute so use this extra time to reflect on all of the positives. Most importantly, remember to be kind and love yourself!
