Top Takeaways from Our Latest In-Person Event

We recently had an in-person event at one of our top suppliers, where we looked at trending products as well as new items and ideas for the holidays. For those who didn’t get to make it to our event, we’re sharing the top takeaways and ideas so you, too, can reap the awesome benefits from this day!

When we asked participants what the most valuable part of the day was, the majority of people responded with the ability to see the behind-the-scenes of what actually goes on at the production level to print and produce an order. 

We were lucky enough to be able to have factory tours at this event, showing all of the nitty gritty details for what goes on at the production level when orders are placed and go into production. When you see the time and effort that goes into ensuring each piece is printed correctly, this can help make sense of some of the costs associated with you orders, like set ups and rush charges. And why turnaround times for an umbrella may be different that the turnaround time for a drinkware piece.

When it came to the product side of the event, eco tote bags were a big hit. Two new styles in particular seemed to be favourites – best selling tote styles that have been released in all cotton versions! We have the smaller cotton fashion totes, very similar to a Lulu style tote bag, but in all cotton adds an eco-element as well as longevity to the product. They’re great for lunches, shoes, the gym… the uses on this tote are endless and versatile, making it a great option. And of course, the jumbo grocery style tote bag is one of our most popular styles that has also been released in a cotton version, perfect for your next trip to the grocery store or the beach! Both made from heavy 12 oz cotton, these totes will leave a long-lasting impression.

Here’s a new tech piece that I think is really going to take off! This new three in one folding charger can charge your phone, earbuds and watch all at the same time! Say goodbye to tracking down the ten different cords you need to charge up all your stuff. A perfect desktop, side table, or even travel piece with full colour branding, and retail packaging, this is a great option for a gift that people will be sure to use.

New Drinkware Items

When it comes to drinkware, new products really pull from retail trends, and that’s the case with the first popular option from our event, which is the stainless-steel straw tumbler. This is a favourite because many retail stores sell their own version of these around $50 but we are able to offer them to our clients branded with their logo for as low as $21.98! It’s a great option for both hot and cold beverages with its double wall vacuum insulation. The second popular option was the powder coated stainless steel water bottle, with a handy top handle for transport, and it’s also double wall vacuum insulated to keep things hot or cold! And last but certainly not least, the Biggie, a 40 oz tumbler inspired by the ever so popular Stanley tumblers at less than a third of the cost, is a great option. Available with laser engraving or imprinting, this tumbler I use myself and keeps water cold all day, and super accessible for me to get in my water! Love!
