Lisa’s List: Top 10 Holiday Gift Picks for 2026

Holiday gifting is one of my favourite parts of the promotional products world! Every year, I get to see hundreds (and hundreds!) of new products, and while there are always plenty of great options, a few inevitably stand out as the ones I immediately think, “I would actually love to receive this.”

That’s the test I used for this year’s list.

For Lisa’s List: Holiday Edition, I’ve rounded up 10 of my favourite gifts for 2026 — a mix of useful, cozy, delicious, unexpected and just plain fun ideas that I think people will genuinely enjoy receiving.

My pick for: Bringing a little warmth to the holidays

There’s something about a beautiful casserole dish that just feels like the holidays. It brings to mind cozy dinners, family recipes, potlucks and gathering around the table with the people you love. This combines that warm, nostalgic feeling with an elevated, retail-inspired look, making it feel less like a corporate gift and more like something thoughtfully chosen for the recipient. And because it’s something they can bring out year after year, it has the potential to become part of their own holiday traditions.

Why it made Lisa’s List: Sometimes the best branded gift is the one that doesn’t feel like a branded gift. I would actually buy this for myself!

My pick for: The one they’ll reach for again and again

You really can’t go wrong with a great quarter zip — especially when it’s this soft. The Roam has an incredibly buttery-soft feel with just the right amount of stretch and lightweight warmth, making it an easy layer for work, weekends, travel, golf or just about anything in-between. Made with certified recycled materials and finished with thoughtful details like zippered pockets and water resistance, it has the quality and versatility you’d expect from Cutter & Buck while still feeling comfortable enough to live in.

Why it made Lisa’s List: It checks all my boxes for a great branded gift — recognizable retail brand, incredibly soft, universally wearable and something people will genuinely use all year long!

My pick for: The universally easy-to-give gift

There’s a reason candles continue to be such a popular holiday gift. The Horizon combines a beautiful glass vessel with an acacia wood lid, giving it a warm, elevated look that feels much more like a retail gift than traditional branded merchandise. And the glass vessel can be used long after the candle has been used.

Why it made Lisa’s List: It’s cozy, stylish and works for almost anyone on your list.

My pick for: The gift people don’t know they need until they have one

This might be one of my favourite practical gifts this year. The PitStop is a compact rechargeable inflator that can be kept in the car and used for tires, sports balls, air mattresses, pool floaties and more. It even has a built-in LED light. It’s useful, unexpected and has that “Wait…this is actually really cool” factor that makes a corporate gift memorable.

Why it made Lisa’s List: It’s the kind of gift someone could still be using years from now.

My pick for: A simple holiday thank-you

Not every holiday gift needs to be big! I love this layered birch wood snowflake ornament because it feels festive without being overly corporate. The dimensional wood design gives it a more elevated look, while the branding can be kept subtle with a laser-engraved logo on the back.

Why it made Lisa’s List: It’s affordable, tasteful and something recipients can bring out again every holiday season.

My pick for: Making the gift last

Instead of opening one gift, how about opening 24? This customizable advent calendar is filled with 24 individually wrapped chocolate truffles, turning a holiday gift into an experience that lasts throughout December. There’s also lots of space to get creative with the packaging and tell a bigger brand story.

Why it made Lisa’s List: It creates anticipation, engagement, great branding opportunities and 24 little moments of recognition instead of just one.

My pick for: The entertainer

Charcuterie isn’t going anywhere — but this version makes it portable. With eight removable compartments for cheeses, meats, fruit, crackers and other snacks, this tray is great for parties, picnics, road trips, cottages and family gatherings.

Why it made Lisa’s List: It feels current and fun, but it’s also genuinely useful long after the holidays are over.

My pick for: Cozy season

A great blanket is one of those gifts people rarely buy for themselves but almost always love receiving. The woven texture of the Highlander gives it a beautiful home décor feel, making it perfect for curling up on the couch during the colder months. It has that coveted designer-blanket look, without the designer price tag.

Why it made Lisa’s List: A blanket is useful, comforting and easy to incorporate into someone’s home without making the branding the star of the show.

My pick for: Elevated everyday gifting

I’m always looking for gifts that strike the balance between practical and premium, and this is exactly the type of piece I gravitate toward for holiday programs. The goal with corporate

gifting should be to choose something that feels like it was selected specifically for the recipient — not simply something that had room for a logo.

Why it made Lisa’s List: It has that polished, retail-inspired feel I’m looking for in holiday gifting this year.

My pick for: The everyday essential, upgraded

We’ve all received drinkware before, but this is the kind you’ll actually want to keep. The new Canadian brand Black Loon offers this 600ml Tumbler with a sleek, lightweight design with a ceramic-coated interior, so your coffee tastes like coffee — not yesterday’s tea. It’s vacuum insulated, leak-proof and designed to fit easily into most cupholders and bag pockets, making it just as useful for the morning commute as it is for weekends on the go. The best part: for every Black Loon product sold, they give a loonie back to Canada by supporting organizations that protect wild places and help kids discover the outdoors!

Why it made Lisa’s List: It takes an everyday gift and makes it feel elevated. Stylish, practical and easy to use every single day with a give-back — exactly what I look for in a great branded gift.

What I’m Loving About Holiday Gifting This Year

If there’s one theme running through my picks this year, it’s this: The best branded gifts don’t need to scream your brand.

Useful products, beautiful materials, great packaging and thoughtful details can make a much bigger impression than an oversized logo ever will. Whether you’re thanking employees, recognizing clients or sending something special to your partners, think about what you would genuinely be excited to unwrap yourself. That’s usually a pretty good place to start!
